During our journey at IBS New York, we were determined to bring you a “modern day” perm, and what we found is so much more!
We have constantly been seeing texture and waves show up in Fashion Mags and on the Runway. Yet, there still seems to be the same old tools to get us there. That is where American Wave comes in. This product is extremely revolutionary and we were lucky enough to catch up with an Arrojo stylist to tell us all about it… and this is what we learned:
This is no ordinary product. It uses a revolutionary ionic based technology to create a modern day texture that can suit any girls desire.
By using it’s positively charged ionic technology on the hair’s negatively charged structure, American Wave breaks down the hairs chemical makeup giving you the desired texture without the harsh effects of a traditional perm.
In conjunction with the “hardware” (rods) known as “Bendies”, the result is as customizable as possible.
Also, forget about that stinky perm smell. This product has Zero Odor and the neutralizer is infused with Eucalyptus giving the hair an amazing finish with a smooth, shiny, polished surface.
As a stylist I am thrilled about this product! This is something we need to see coming back into the salon. Our guests (if they are not already) are going to be asking for this type of service, and it’s important that we give it to them and have the knowledge of the modern day perm. This new technology and innovation in hair fashion, will drive clients into the salon.
